This tour is unique because we are the only tour company who visits this particular area of El Yunque. Making it a very authentic and a REAL off the beaten path experience. We DO NOT visit the slides or any other touristy sites of El Yunque. This tour is Raw, Real rugged and beautiful. Our small vehicles (no big passenger vans in our company) ensure personalized attention to everyone. El Yunque is a MUST for any traveler visiting the island. We believe nature must be appreciated wholly and you cannot do that in a crowd. In El Yunque we will hike, see waterfalls, and cliff jump in blue pools of pristine, pure water. After working up a sweat and an appetite we go to our second stop: Piñones. Piñones is iconic for 3 reasons: The beaches, the food and the people. We will visit a beach that is absolutely breathtaking. Afterwards we will visit a mom-&-pop food stand where we get delicious food from the locals. This experience is like hanging out with a local who will show you the best spots.
El Yunque is renowned for its untouched beauty and the beauty of its rivers. Once here we will begin our hike to a few natural pools of fresh mountain water. We will get to swim and hike around this breathtaking landscape. Duration includes 45 minutes travel time.
Piñones is the mecca for Puerto Rican food. Combine the food with amazing beaches and you've got yourself quite the spot. When we leave El Yunque we will go into Piñones.
