First we'll go to visit Capriana Monastery complex. The Căpriana Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the Republic of Moldova. It was founded in the 15th century and has served as an important spiritual and cultural center over the centuries. The monastery was supported by several Moldavian rulers, including Stephen the Great. During the Soviet Union, the monastery was closed but was reopened after the fall of the communist regime and has been restored. Today, the Căpriana Monastery is an important pilgrimage site and a symbol of Moldova's cultural and religious heritage.
Next will transfer to Honey Mansion farmhouse, located in Micleuseni village. The apiary is surrounded by plum orchards and perfumed flower fields. Here, Victor Ciolacu will explain to us the entire process of beekeeping and offer you few types of honey for tasting. If weather allows, you will open a beehive and meet the queen, the drones and the worker bees. It is an ideal place to learn about beekeeping and discover natural honey products.
Anyone who visits "Crama Mircești" discovers the local winemaking traditions and the splendor of the mansion, known as the "Little Tuscany" of Moldova. Scenic vineyards are completed by a recently restored mansion which hosts a traditional cellar, an elegant tasting hall and few comfortable rooms for the ones who want to experience more activities we provide in this region. In addition to Pinot Noir, Saperavi, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, here you can taste traditional local varieties, such as Feteasca Neagră, Rara Neagră, Feteasca Regală and Feteasca Albă.
