About this experience

Tour to Creel in which during the journey we will visit the Mennonite community and time for a light meal based on cheeses and cold meats, and then continue to our destination. Upon arrival in Creel your guide / driver will accompany you on a tour of all the points of interest of Creel such as Lake Arareco, Valley of the Mushrooms, Tarahumaras Caves, the old Mission of San Ignacio and the Central Plaza where you will have the opportunity to do Tarahumara handicraft shopping. In the afternoon, return to the city of Chihuahua.

Upon arriving in Creel, the first visit we will make will be to the beautiful Arareco Lake, the perfect place to spread out and breathe fresh air surrounded by all the nature of the Sierra Madre de Chihuahua

This valley gets its name from a set of rock creations of different sizes and shapes, mainly made of mushrooms. It is a site full of volcanic rocks dating back more than 20 million years, and which have been sculpted by erosion. In addition to the mushroom figures, we can find others in the shape of frogs and horses.

We will visit one of the most emblematic temples of the town, we will admire its architecture and the history that this old Jesuit cathedral has.

To conclude the tour of this magical town, we will explore the central square where you will have the opportunity to explore at your leisure and buy the local craft souvenirs that you want.
