Adventure in e-mtb crossing the island from south to north, from Lacona to Tenuta La Chiusa. Already during the first ascent towards Monte Orello, it will be possible to see the eastern part of the island from a privileged position. Then descending in a northerly direction, Portoferraio will rise up in front of us in all its beauty. After the descent we will find ourselves immersed in a setting of other times, entering the historic Tenuta La Chiusa (first testimonies 1500). History and tasting will bring us some healthy relaxation, before returning to Lacona.
The Elba MTB headquarters located inside the prestigious Residence il Mandorlo in Lacona: swimming pool and pump track will be the backdrop for the initial briefing. The location is at the foot of Colle Reciso.
Adjacent to the beach is the ancient Tenuta La Chiusa with a history that dates back to the 1500s.
From the splendid Tenuta la Chiusa, we will be able to see in front of us the beauty of Portoferraio, with its mighty walls built in the 16th century by Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, who renamed the new fortress city Cosmopoli, represent a work of high engineering and extraordinary architectural beauty.
After the first ascent to Monte Orello, it will be possible to see the eastern part of the island (Monte Calamita) from a privileged position.

The starting point is located inside the Residence il Mandorlo: just pass in front of the reception and continue for around 50 metres.
