After picking you up, we will drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, built-in 2008, on the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Mongolian Empire's foundation in honor of its founder, Chinggis Khan.
This giant stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and is 40 meters (131 feet) high; it's the tallest statue representing a man on horseback in the world. Some souvenir shops, a small museum, a restaurant, and a coffee shop are inside the statue complex. if you want, you will be able to wear traditional Mongolian clothes and take pictures in front of or inside the statue complex. Its service will charge you an extra $3 and there you can also take a picture with the eagle if you want. It will charge an extra $2.
After that, we will drive to Terelj National Park, which is considered one of the most beautiful worth visiting places because it combines sharp mountains with granite cliffs, forests, and rivers.
Once we get there, we will have lunch, then we are going to discover Turtle rock and the surrounding area.
One of the most beautiful spots in Gorkhi-Terelj National Park apart from its nature is Aryabal Temple. Surrounding areas are attractions full of granite formations set among scenic valleys and hills with winding rivers and groves of trees.
Aryabal is a Buddhist God who listens to all the prayers of humankind and releases humankind from suffering. It was built in the shape of an elephant’s head. The number 108 is an auspicious number in Buddhism. Therefore the stairs leading to the temple consist of 108 steps and symbolize the elephant’s elongated trunk. Moreover, signs with 144 Buddhist teachings, written in English and Mongolian, lined the sides of the path to the temple.
After that, our next activity will be horse riding for 1 hour. There is a professional horseman who will hold your horse.
