Drive to Tsonjin Boldog to see the majestic Chinggis Khan’s Monument. After approx. 1 hour drive, arrive at the complex of Chinggis khan and watch a movie about construction process of the monument.
Visit Turtle Rock, a surprising granitic formation 24 meters high whose form reminds of a turtle. At around 1 pm, you will enjoy your lunch at a local yurt camp where you can also try on Mongolian costumes.
In the afternoon, you will go on an excursion to the Aryapala Temple which is one of the very few meditation temples in Mongolia with a magnificently beautiful and calm location.
Later, you will get a chance to visit Mongolian nomadic family. It is a great opportunity to learn and experience about Mongolian nomadic lifestyle and interact with the nomadic people. You can enjoy tasting and experiencing national dairy products, such as airag-fermented mare’s milk, tarag-yoghurt, cheese and curds. Opportunity for horseback riding on request. In the evening, we end our trip and drive back to Ulaanbaatar to the hotel or any other place where you stay.
