Stop 1

In the Nieuwe Kerk is the mausoleum of William of Orange, the founder of the Netherlands. You will also find the tomb of the royal family here. Recently this church has been renovated and it has become beautiful! Certainly the numerous stained glass windows are worth seeing. A guided tour of the church is available on request. Admission is not included.

This beautiful city hall is a much sought-after wedding location. The town hall was built in neo-renaissance style by Hendrick de Keyser. If possible, we walk in for a moment. The entrance hall was formerly used as a court.
Behind the town hall is the former prison tower, the oldest tower in Delft.

A cozy square where you can eat the tastiest apple pie in Delft! But you can also enjoy an alcoholic snack with a tasty snack all year round.

The only remaining city gate of Delft. A great place to take photos!

A hidden courtyard where you will find an oasis of peace. This courtyard was founded by the owners of beer brewery 'De Klaeuw'. The houses were inhabited by unmarried, devout Catholic women.

On the way to the horse market we pass the courtyard of Gratie, narrow streets, beautiful flower gardens, picturesque houses.

A park laid out by Jacques van Marken, director of the Yeast and spirit factory. In this park, named after his wife Agneta, he had houses built for his employees.

The only remaining city mill in Delft. You can go upstairs in the mill several days a week.

Stop 10

The Vermeer Center is the place where the painters of Delft met. Johannes Vermeer was also regularly found here. Now it is an exhibition center.

William of Orange lived in this former monastery for several years. The garden of the monastery is freely accessible.
