The town of Arima in the East of Trinidad is the gateway into the lush rainforest, the drive will lead us along a narrow road through the mountains during which guests will be able to see interesting plants and fruit trees.

The Asa Wright Nature Centre is a bird sanctuary and study centre set in 200 acres of the thickly forested Arima Valley. Large tegu lizard and guinea pig-like agouti search for scraps below the bird feeders.
