Nieuwendammerdijk - cozy street of Amsterdam, where you still can see a lot of wooden houses built in the 16th and 17th centuries! Those ones, that look like from a fairy tale: with hand painted shutters, lace curtains and beautiful gardens! Let’s discover their stories and myths with a cup of coffee in the brown bar, standing on top of the old dyke?
Dairy farms - we will definitely visit some of them, where you can try some homemade ice-cream or fresh milk and find out more about the modern farmers life, agricultural innovations and social projects!
Broek en Waterland - majestic merchant town with the city hall and the old church! Let’s have a walk around the city center and find out more about the Golden Age, Naval history of the Netherlands and its influence! In addition, we can visit one of the oldest cafes in this town to try delicious Dutch pancakes!
Monnickendam - lovely fishing village, where we would like to tell about traditions of Dutch provinces! Walking along the harbour with boats and lots of smokehouses, you can discover more about local culture and even ‘taste’ it! We will visit a small tavern, located just inside the old Weight house. We believe it is one of the best places to eat smoked eel!
Dutch gardens - on the way back to Amsterdam, we should not miss visiting those lovely blooming gardens!
