Detailed itinerary

1

Catherine Park is situated in the heart of the capital. The park was named after Catherine II, the Russian empress who issued the edict to find Tiraspol, and the major emblem of Catherine Park is a 4.5-meter-high statue to Catherine II on the Russian empress's throne. Because of the warm rotundas ornamentation that evokes the feeling of previous ages, the park itself is a nice area for walking and enjoying many other activities.

2

Suvorov Square is located between Red Alley and Shevchenko Street in Tiraspol, the capital city of the partially recognized country of Transnistria. It is named for Tiraspol's founder, Alexander Suvorov, and is said to have been formed towards the end of the 18th century, practically immediately after Tiraspol was elevated to the position of city and district headquarters. The square is bordered by the Memorial of Glory, the Supreme Council of Transnistria building, the Palace of Children and Teenagers, the Suvorov Monument, and the De Volan Square.

3

The Tiraspol Memorial of Glory is a municipal memorial located on Suvorov Square. It honors veterans and fallen soldiers from the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet-Afghan War, and the Transnistria War.

4

De Wollant Park is a public park in Tiraspol that was named after the Flemish engineer François-Paul Sainte de Wollant. There are several statues and monuments, as well as the Dniester River on the south side. There are several entrances to De Wollant Park, but the most notable is the extremely stately entry through Catherine Gate on 25th October Street.
