The adventure kicks off with a ferry ride across the River IJ, leading to a scenic route along an old canal, through green parks, and into the Dutch polder landscape. Pass the huge central station to take the ferry to Amsterdam North

Meeting point

We will meet at Oosterdoksstraat, this is just east from Amsterdam Central Station. Coming out of the city side of the station walk to the left (east). Go over a canal, pass giant floating Chinese boat (Sea Palace), and go to the left at the 'Bibliotheek' (the library).
