Once crossing the border will arrive in Bender is a city within the internationally recognized borders of Moldova under de facto control ... has de facto administrative control. The fortress of Tighina was one of the important historic fortresses of the Principality of Moldova.

First, stop after crossing the border. Tighina Military Cemetery. .This cemetery contains the graves of soldiers of many countries. In front of the monumental entrance, there stands a magnificent statue of General Potemkin, the lover - some say the husband - of Catherine the Great, who captured Bender fortress from the Ottomans.

The historical complex "Bender fortress" is located in the city of Bender, in the second largest city of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

This memorial is to commemorate the people who lost their lives during the war some years ago.
The site is quite large and well maintained in order to preserve the memory.

This war memorial is located close to the Tank Monument and opposite the Lenin monument outside the Supreme Soviet building. It's worth a stop as you're exploring the area. In quite a good condition.
