What you'll see

Our tour offers an unforgettable experience that combines Panama's natural beauty with world-class engineering. At the Miraflores Visitors Center, visitors can learn about the history of the Panama Canal, its construction and current operation.

(entrance fee is not included in the price of the tour).
At the Canal Visitor Center, you will have the opportunity to watch the ships pass through the locks and learn about the operation and history of the Panama Canal, the piece of architecture that connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Afterwards, you will observe the dense Panamanian jungle, witness the excavations of the French in the 19th century and see how the engineering of a century ago transformed international shipping and tropical medicine. This and much more can be enjoyed in the documentary Divided Earth at the Panama Canal: A World United at the Panama Canal IMAX located at the Miraflores Visitor Center in Panama City.

40 minutes where viewers will be amazed by this interesting story, narrated by actor, producer and five-time Oscar nominee Morgan Freeman.
