7 AM - Transport will collect you either from your hotel or designated pick-up point and proceed directly to Chiang Rai. Following approximately an hour of travel, you'll reach Mae Khachan Hotspring.
Mae Khachan Hotspring serves as a convenient stopover point, offering restroom facilities and dining options. Here, you can also witness Thailand's tallest geyser.
We will proceed to the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), where you can marvel at its distinctive ornamentation crafted from glass, sculptures, and murals, all meticulously designed by a renowned Thai artist. Delve into the mesmerizing architecture of the white structure embellished with glass elements.
We will then depart for the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen, located in Chiang Rai Province. Here, we will pause for a lunch break. This area marks the frontier between Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand, separated by the Mekong River.
We will be visiting the Golden Triangle, which is renowned as the northernmost region of Thailand.
You'll be treated to magnificent views overlooking the Mae Khong River, where you can witness the physical triangle formed by Burma, Laos, and Thailand at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers. For an additional fee of 300 THB, you can opt for a boat ride to experience the grandeur of the mighty Mae Khong River.
Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to explore Wat Prathat Phu Khao for sightseeing before departing for the hill tribe village.
Explore the Laos border, which is approximately a 35-40 minute journey from our location. This excursion is optional and requires an additional payment of 300 THB.
We'll begin our return journey to Chiang Mai, which is expected to take approximately 3 hours.
You are anticipated to arrive in Chiang Mai between 20:00 and 21:00, ensuring a safe return to your hotel.
