Are you ready for the only real combined experience of Pompeii and Herculaneum with archaeologists who have actually excavated and conducted research projects in the archaeological site of Pompeii?
I am not an agency nor a tour operator, this means that the visit will only be held by a real archaeologist, me or my trusted fellow archaeologists.
The combined visit of Pompeii and Herculaneum allows us to understand the life that took place in the two small Roman cities until the time of the eruption in 79 AD.
Through the visit it will be possible to notice how the different burial modalities of the two cities have allowed two different types of conservation.
During the visit of Pompeii we will focus mainly on the aspects of public life in the city.
The buildings that can be visited are: theaters, spas, the lupanare, the forum (with the temples, the markets and the basilica) and the moving bodies obtained with the liquid plaster technique.
After a short 45-minute break we will reach Herculaneum (about 25 minutes by car or Circumvesuviana train)
During the visit we will reach the ancient beach and begin the tour of the city by visiting a series of typical Roman houses (with mosaics and frescoes), shops, the beautiful female spas with their frescoes and the charred finds that we will encounter during the tour.
The appointment is in front of the restaurant / café called Suisse
