Detailed itinerary

1

You will start your day with the experience of a lifetime, and one of the most popular activities in Mauritius: swimming with wild dolphins in their natural environment. Once you get on board the speedboat, the professional and qualified skippers will start by briefing you on the important aspects of this experience. You will then head to Tamarin Bay for your incredible dolphin encounter of about 2.5 hours. Get stunning, open sea views of these amazing creatures before going to the popular dive and snorkel site of the "Aquarium" (time permitting). There, you can marvel at the beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish

2

After the dolphin encounter, your private driver will take you to the North of the island, where some of the most beautiful beaches can be found. You'll have a chance to explore up to 4 of these gems. You will be able to choose how much time you spend at each beach. The entire tour, including swimming with the dolphins, lasts up to 8 hours. Located adjacent to the town of Trou aux Biches, this stunning beach offers great conditions for both swimming and snorkelling as it is blessed with calm water and gently shelving sands. There is an abundance of authentic street food stands, as well as a string of cafes next to the beach, so this is a great place to enjoy lunch if you're hungry (note that the price of lunch is not included).

3

Welcome to one of the longest beaches on the island! Popular with locals on the weekend, but much quieter during the week, this beach offers shallow turquoise waters and a backdrop of casuarina trees. It also features several food options that you can savour while soaking in the beauty of the beach.

4

Many visitors haven't heard of this hidden jewel located near the town of Grand Bay. Just 80 meters in length, this beach is surrounded by hidden coves and rocky boulders.

5

Located next to the resort town of Pereybere, this is one of the island's most popular beaches among Mauritians. The water tends to be slightly deeper here than most other beaches, but is still very calm. There are plenty of food stalls along be beach and cafes and restaurants in the town of Pereybere.

Insider Tip: All beaches offer snorkelling, but Trou aux Biches has the best snorkelling. Make sure you bring your snorkelling gear with you, as this is not provided (except during the swimming with dolphins part of the trip). Ask your hotel staff for the best place to buy snorkelling equipment near you. After the trip, your private driver will take you back to your hotel.
