The Speedboat will go through the GRSE waterfall which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mauritius. There you will get the opportunity to spot Monkeys and you may also feed them. The Skipper will guide you through.
Ile aux Cerfs, also known as Deer island, is the first landmark you land off the boat. While being a popular tourist destination, it has its own golf course and measures up to 0,87 km2. You will get to visit the island, take pictures and visit small shops. After visit to other islets, you will be served lunch on same island(speedboat only).
(You will get off in the front of the island for 20 mins - at lunch you will go back to the island for lunch -approx 40 mins)
From a distance, the speedboat will pass along the territories of the Blue Marine park where occasionally you may spot a variety of fish species, as well as the occasional sea turtle. You will get around 20 - 30 mins to snorkel. Snorkeling gear will be provided.
Another landmark visit is Ile aux phares, also known as Île aux Fouquets served as a historical landmark for Mauritius. There, you will get the opportunity to visit the islet, the ruins and the lighthouse itself build back in 1864.
The boat will make a little stop near Ile aux Aigrettes Islands. There, you will get the opportunity to swim in crystal clear turquoise waters. You will not be allowed to enter the islands as it is a natural reserve and require special access.
Ile de la Passe, another historical landmark which served significantly during the colonial period, is a rocky islet found on the bay of Grand Port. You will get to see the island from a distance however due to rocky corals surrounding the island, the boat cannot approach.
Ilot Flamants, also known as Ile aux Flamants, is a small, sandbank island located in the southeast of Mauritius, within the lagoon near Mahebourg. It's pristine white sand and clear turquoise waters, making it a popular spot for relaxation and water activities like snorkeling and diving.
The boat will approach the sandbank depending on the tide.
The Location of embarkation can be easily found at Trou D'eau Douce. It is found easily on google maps and has a stone-like infrastructure with parking facilities for your transportation, situated near the coast guard branch. Upon arrival, the representative of Papas Dream will guide you through.
