Over the years it has been home to Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic.

Start your visit by meeting a representative in front of St. Vitus Cathedral. They’ll provide a brief introduction (in English) and give you the necessary information about your ticket and about the orientation inside the Castle complex. You will also receive a map of the whole complex.

Your admission tickets covers: St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and Golden Lane.

Prague Castle is the Presidential office, so some buildings may be closed for operational or ceremonial reasons, and opening hours may change accordingly.

IMPORTANT: During September and October (particularly around Czech Independence Day), some buildings within the Prague Castle complex can be closed for an annual Crown Jewel Exhibition and award ceremony. If you choose to book during this period, you will be informed of any closures via email.

Please, meet our representative at the corner of the Prague Castle complex's III. courtyard next to the St. Vitus Cathedral. The exact address is III. nádvoří 48/2 119 01 Praha 1. Look out for an open blue and white umbrella!

TICKET INFO: The representative will exchange your voucher for the ticket to the Prague castle interiors (you can not enter the interiors with the voucher only) and will give you the 20 minutes long introduction.

The ticket is valid for 2 days (from the day you receive it) and it includes one entry to every attraction (Old Royal Palace, Basilic of St. George, Golden Lane and St. Vitus Cathedral).

The 20 minutes introduction is guaranteed in English, other languages are available according to the skills of the guide.

The representative will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the starting time. In case you are running late, please let us immediately know.
