Chronicles of Narnia - Tisa Rocks. If you've seen the movie, you might recall the moment Lucy opened the wardrobe and stepped into a magical winter wonderland. That enchanting forest? It's in Tisa. While hiking around this sandstone labyrinth, you might just feel as if you're sharing the same view as Lucy and the faun.
Long before the Chronicles of Narnia was filmed here, the entire area was already deemed magical. The Tisa Walls are among the most popular destinations in the National Park of Bohemian Switzerland. Immerse yourself in the tales and legends of these natural wonders, wandering pathways sculpted by nature herself.
This tour is considered an Easy hiking tour with a total hiking of around 3 km. This tour is accessible to everyone from casual hikers to advanced hikers and offers some of the most stunning views available in this part of the world.

Hřensko village - a beautiful center of the national park
We will take a walk to the most popular natural attraction in Bohemian Switzerland National Park - Pravcicka Gate, Europe’s largest sandstone arch. Filmmakers used it to create the magical world of Narnia in their movies. Mysterious, hidden deep in the woods, the impressive symbol of the National Park stands 21 meters tall, leaving all the spectators in admiration. Amazing experience and stunning views!
Delicious lunch in the middle of the National Park

The Bastei Bridge and Neurathen offer the most beautiful views of the Elbe canyon, the deepest sandstone canyon in the whole of Europe, surrounded by wild German nature is unique only to this area.
The last point of interest is Bastei in the Saxon part of the National Park (Germany). The Bastei rock formation has plenty of viewpoints over the Elbe canyon on the right bank of the river Elbe. You can walk across the famous sandstone bridge that connects Bastei and explore ruins of the old Neurathen rock castle.
We will deliver you back to your hotel with your camera full of beautiful photos and one more story to tell.

Greetings from Bohemian Switzerland national park, and the Bohemia Adventures team. Thank you for your reservation.
Our professional guide will meet you between 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. in front of your accommodation at your Prague address. The return time is usually between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. but it may vary depending on the pace of the group, etc.
One day before the tour we will email you an exact pickup time along with the weather forecast. Please, do not forget to take your passport (ID) with you as the trip to Germany is part of the tour. As you have booked a hiking option, we recommend wearing hiking boots or sports shoes suitable for uneven surfaces.
An à la carte lunch and a snack pack with water are already included in your tour. If you have any dietary preferences such as vegetarian, or vegan meals, please let us know. You need no special equipment for the tour, only clothes comfortable for movement outdoors and a daypack may come in handy. We provide free walking poles, raincoats, etc for you to borrow.
If you choose the EASY OPTION, instead of the hike to the Pravcicka Gate, you will have extra time for self-guided exploration of Tisa and Bastei Bridge. It is necessary to remember that steep stairs are located at several parts of the trail on the way to reach the boat ride and the same on the way back. Therefore we do not recommend taking this tour in case you are healing from any injuries with your ankle, leg, knee, etc. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding this. Our guide can advise you during the drive to the national park to decide whether the Boat ride or the Pravcicka gate hike (longer in distance but not so steep) is better for you. Besides the aforementioned stairs, the rest of the tour around Bastei Bridge and Tisa goes along rather flat and very well-maintained trails, and they're easy to walk on.
Enjoy your tour! With regards, Bohemia Adventures Team
