About this experience
Visit to two monuments that demonstrate the presence of the Templars in Portugal - Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, headquarters of the Military Orders of the Temple and of Christ, with a replica of the Charola from Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, completed in 1190. We continue with the visit to Almourol Castle - built in 1171, located on an island in the Tagus River (largest river in the Iberian Peninsula), accessed by boat.
