The 3-Day Poon Hill Sunrise Trek begins and ends in Pokhara, with convenient pickup and drop-off directly from your hotel in Lakeside.
On Day 01, your guide will meet you at your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Nayapul, where the trek begins. From there, you hike to Tikhedunga, a relatively easy 3.5-hour walk through charming villages and rhododendron forests.
On Day 02, you continue trekking to Ghorepani. This section is more challenging but equally rewarding, as you climb through lush forests, meadows, and traditional Nepali villages while enjoying stunning views along the way.
On Day 03, you rise early for a hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness one of Nepal’s most iconic sunrises. From the viewpoint, you’ll enjoy a sweeping panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna I. After sunrise, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then trek back down to Nayapul. From there, a vehicle will transfer you back to your hotel in Pokhara.
Please kindly provide us with your hotel name and address. Our Mountain Hike Nepal Team guide will meet you directly in your hotel lobby. We arrange pickups for all customers staying within a 2 km radius of Lakeside.
