Stop 1
This tour provides an an amazing trip to the famous Mayan ruins of Lamanai. The trip from the port to the river bank where the tour begins is an hours drive. You will board the boat and the river tour will begin. On this tour you will see many species of native birds, howler monkeys, and other wildlife.
After the river tour, we will visit the Mayan site of Lamanai. There are several different temples that we will hike too for amazing views, photo opportunities and take in the atmosphere of this marvelous setting. After the hike, lunch will be served followed by the return journey on the river.
