Asahiyama Zoo is located in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. It is the northernmost zoo in Japan and is now the most visited zoo in Japan.
Who said that if you go to the zoo in winter, most of the animals will hibernate in groups behind closed doors? Visiting Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido on a snowy day is also a lot of fun! Clumsy little raccoons crawl overhead and make faces, curious seals swim up and down on glass pillars, and monkeys snuggle up to each other to keep warm.

Located in the Shirogane Onsen area of Biei Town, Shirahige Falls is a waterfall where groundwater flows down like a white beard. You can see a powerful and beautiful sight.

The can't-miss alluring Blue Pond (Aoi Ike) in Biei of Hokkaido! The pond light up only in winter just creates a dreamlike wonderland!

Pick-up and drop-off points are different. On the way back, you cannot get off at the hotel where you boarded. (Odori Park and Susukino are near the subway station.)

Joining this tour on your last day in Hokkaido is not recommended. As there is a possibility of traffic congestion or other delay during the tour. In this case, no compensation will be made.

Staying time at each sightseeing spot is subject to change depending on realtime traffic condition.

There is a possibility that arrival is delayed due to traffic conditions. When meeting with stormy weather, the tour may be unavoidably canceled. Please kindly be noted.

Lunch is at your own expense in the zoo.

Admission fee for Asahiyama Zoo is included. Please kindly be noted that guide will not accompany to enter the zoo.

Please note that we do not accept bus seat requests.

In March, you will not be able to see the penguins roaming Asahiyama Zoo. Also, depending on road conditions, your total stay time may not be 150 minutes.

Children under 2 years old are free. Seats will not be provided. If a seat is required, a child fare will be charged.

There will be no sightseeing explanations during the tour. If you require English assistance during the tour, we will use simple language or an interpreter.

The return time is around 9:30pm from December to February, and around 10:00pm in March.

This tour only visits Shirahige Falls in March, and the waterfall is not illuminated.
