Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

The tour starts with pick up from your hotel/accommodation in Sofia at 8:00 am. After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will reach Plovdiv. There we will visit the highlights – the Roman Theatre from the I century AD, the Roman Stadium from the II century AD, the oldest mosque on the Balkans from the XIV century, an old pharmacy and have a walk in the Old Town with typical for the Revival Period house museums and narrow cobblestone streets. In the itinerary is scheduled to visit 5 sites and the top of the main hill with a great view of the whole city.

After we finish with the exploration of Plovdiv we will drive south to the Rhodope Mountain. The road is very scenic. We will reach Vucha dam and you will have an amazing boat trip. The place also offers nice lunch with a spectacular view of the area.

After this unforgettable experience, we will head back to Sofia.
