About this experience

During this hiking tour you will experience the three spectacular summits around Bergen, and enjoy the amazing views of the North Sea and the country of islands along Western cost of Norway. In this tour included return Funicular trip to the summit of the city mountain Floien and back to the city center. Great spot for photographers. All mountain trails are suitable for medium trained people. At every stop your hiking guide will inform you about history, nature and other sides of life in Norway. You will see more than 10 lakes on the way from the top of Floien to the top of Rundemanen (the highest point of your hike)
Every participant will get before the tour one bag with Arctic wild berries covered in dark and white chocolate as a free gift. Very popular in between hikers sweet snacks from Arctic Norway.

Stop 1

Mountain Floien is the most popular Bergen city mountain. You can come to the summit with the help of Bergen Funicular Line. From the view point you can see many islands along the cost, the historical part of Bergen and the North Sea. At the top there is restaurant, souvenir shop, bakery with freshly baked pastry, playing ground for children, the statue of a big Troll that meeting people at the top. You need to add to the hiking tour price Funicular return ticket price of 140NOK.

Stop 2

At the the summit of the 2nd mountain - Sandviksfjellet you can dropp in historical Limonade restaurant (Brushytten) that suggests hot food, ice cream and different beverages. Or you can buy there take away coffe and tea.

Stop 3

Rundemanen is the highest point of elevation during your hiking tour. Rundemanen is the second highest mountain (568m/ 1864ft) within the city of Bergen boundaries. Great amazing views of the city fjords and country of islands along the coast. Good spot for photographers. After the short rest we will start our return hike back to the upper station of Bergen Funicular line. Total distance that you will cover during your return hike is equal to 7km.
