The first stop is the Blue Mosque, named for the tiles of this color that are inside.

There are more than 50 different tile designs. The most varied colours, and all were made by hand in Iznik, under the direction of master potter Kaşıcı Hasan.

It was built between 1609 and 1617 by the Ottoman architect Mehmet Aga, disciple of Mimar Sinan. Mimar Sinan used the imperial mosques that his master had built as a base. The Suleymaniye of Istanbul and the Selimiye of Edirne are the highlights of Sinan’s art. Make plans for the mosque that was to be built in front of Hagia Sophia.

These two sites are completely unique and a true must when visiting Istanbul.

The Basilica, is dedicated to the Divine Wisdom. It is famous, among other things, for the enormous dome, one of the most extraordinary works that man has built.

The interior of Santa Sofia is impressive: the dimensions of the main hall (70 by 74 meters). The diffuse lighting, the huge decorative medallions and the monolithic columns will leave you with your mouth open.

These two sites are completely unique and a true must when visiting Istanbul.

The Suleymaniye Mosque or Süleymaniye Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the third hill of Istanbul, Turkey. Until 2019 it was the largest mosque in the city, being succeeded by the Çamlıca Mosque, yet it is one of the most famous sights in the city.

The Blue Mosque or Sultan Ahmed Mosque is one of the great mosques of Istanbul, the work of Sedefkar Mehmet Ağa, a disciple of the architect Sinan.
