About this experience

Experience Sapporo's power spots and try your hand at Olympic sports on this new standard tour of Sapporo!. While it is always fun to visit the bustling downtown and go on gourmet tours, some of you might be wanting a slightly different experience—well, we have a tour that's just right for you!

The Maruyama area, only 20 minutes from Sapporo by train, is a well-kept secret where you can experience the nature and culture of Sapporo over the course of half a day. The Sapporo Olympic Museum is a facility where you can learn about the history of the games and experience the thrills associated with them. You can try your hand at some of these winter sports via the hugely popular simulators present within the museum.

After touring the museum, take a chair lift up to the Okurayama Viewing Point, used as a ski jump even today, and enjoy the exciting view that only athletes would get to see otherwise. At the base of Okurayama is Hokkaido Jingu, one of the most famous power spots in Hokkaido.
