Your photographer guide and tutor is on hand to give you tips and advice on how to best use your camera for night time photography. Learn about ISO, shutter and aperture settings. Your photographer tour guide will meet you at a central meeting point in Prague's Old Town, and then continue on a night time walking tour of Prague where you will see the best locations for photos of the majestic Prague Castle and famous Charles Bridge.
This small-group night tour route continues from the Rudolfinum theater along the riverside where you will take photos of the ancient Charles Bridge and Prague Castle spectacularly lit up against the night sky. The tour continues along Karlovy Lazne riverside towards Narodni Divadlo (National Theatre) with is exquisite gold rooftop and grand statues. Crossing the Vltava river we may stop at Strelecky island for night shots of the Prague skyline reflected in the water. Onward to Kampa Park where you will take night photos of the Old Town from across the river. Stopping at hidden locations in the cobbled streets Mala Strana (Lesser Town) you will find some hidden photographic gems. The tour continues passed St Nicholas Cathedral, Cihelna Park and Naplavka and finishing at the Obceni Dum.
This night photo tour is ideal for photography enthusiasts. Your photographer guide will be able to give tips on how to take photos at night time and assist you with creative photo composition and camera settings.
For example, you will learn about the camera ISO, shutter and aperture settings best for night photography. A small tripod is recommended for this tour. You can borrow one for the duration of the tour (please request this by messaging us in advance). In addition, your camera should be capable of shooting at night.
