About this experience
The tour will start early in the morning with a pickup at your hotel. We will drive to Queluz and have a private guided tour through the magic rooms of the Palace.
After we'll head to Mafra across the Sintra mountains and along the Atlantic coast, with time for lunch and try the amazing local gastronomy. It's then time to visit the Mafra National Palace and Convent, built during the reign of King John V (1707 - 1750), as consequence of a vow the King made in 1711, to build a convent if his wife, Queen Mariana gave him a son. A private guided tour inside will also be provide.

Mafra National Palace is one of the biggest Palaces in the world, started built in 1717. It was usually a secondary residence for the Royal Family. With more than 1200 rooms and 40.000 sqm, this vast complex is among the most sumptuous Barroque building in Portugal.
