Your day starts with morning pickup at the port in Mangaluru (Mangalore) by your private guide.

Ride in comfort in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your first destination, a cashew factory (Sunday Closed), a signature industry of Mangalore, which is the largest cashew producer and exporter in India. Take a factory tour to learn about the process of preparing the cashews from sorting to cooking and packing.

A popular Hindu temple that dates to the 10th or 11th century. This Kerala-style temple houses a 1000-year-old bronze statue of Lokeshwara and Guatama Buddha in the Dhyani posture point to its Buddhist origins. Your guide shows you around the ponds, gardens, and ornate buildings of the temple complex.

Continue to Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple (Gokarnath Temple), which is devoted to Lord Shiva, and decked out with white marble floors, gold paint, and extensive murals depicting Hindu gods and goddesses. Minutely observe the carvings on the walls and the beautiful architecture. Surrender yourself to the divinity and the devotion felt in the air of the temple.

After two hours of temple hopping, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense).

Head to the Central Market to experience the colorful bustle of local people shopping for fruits, vegetables, and other household items. The market has hundreds of shops lining the narrow alleys inside the market and they sell an assortment of traditional items. traditional clothing, especially silk sarees. One of the things that is in great demand here is the Ayurvedic medicines and oils which are made from an assortment of herbs and spices. The food stalls outside the market provide a great excuse to indulge in tasty street food.

Built in 1885, is an important chapel for followers of Christianity in Mangaluru. A line of circular pillars holds aloft an arched ceiling. Oil paintings on canvas bonded to the ceiling depict the life of Aloysius Gonzaga to whom the chapel is dedicated. The Chapel showcases several magnificent pieces of artwork, crafted by Italian painter Antonio Moscheni.
