Leaving from Siem Reap city around 07:30 AM, drive around 52km to visit Phnom Kulen or Kulen Mountain (in 802, King Jayavarman II, he declared himself as Chakravartin (Universal monarch), in a ritual taken from the Indian-Hindu tradition on Phnom Kulen), firstly visit Thousands of Linga (phallic symbol) carved along river bed since 9th century, continue to visit Buddhism pagoda and also visit a large reclining Buddha statue (8 meters length carved into a sandstone back in 16th century, and behind of a large Buddha). There is a platform where you can stand taking a photo of a beautiful scenic view over Kulen Mountain. The last of an attractive spot is a Waterfall, it splits into two spots. The first waterfall is 4 to 5 meters heights and 20 to 25 diameters in dry and raining seasons. The second waterfall is 15 to 20 meters heights and 10 to 15 diameters in dry and raining seasons, you can relax over there and refresh with crystal clear water. After finishing the tour, go down the hill, on the way back to town, shortly visit Sugar palm village and learn the method of how sugar palm making and see their handicraft souvenir made by the villagers. Drop you off at your hotel or any other place you prefer.
