Drive along the red dirt roads through some of Siem Reap’s most scenic countryside. This tour is a great way to explore Siem Reap beyond the temples and get a better sense of Cambodian life at the floating village while having tons of fun in a Jeep.
The evening concludes with a private boat cruise on the waterway whilst enjoying local delicacies and refreshments, the perfect way to peacefully take in the sunset view at Tonle Sap Lake.

We’ll pick you up at your hotel in a jeep at 1:30 pm,and head South of Siem Reap through the picturesque Cambodian countryside.
Your itinerary includes a local mushroom farm and factory to learn about how mushrooms are grown using technical methods, a rice wine distillery where you also get to try local rice wine in Cambodia!
We stop at a local family house surrounded by rice paddies. Here we sip on a cold coconut or a local juice, meet the family and spend time with them, learning about their farming life.
We will then drive to a nearby river and shuttle by boat through the floating villages, where friendly locals will greet you with smiles and enthusiastic waves. Here you’ll get a fascinating insight into the ways the local people live in this region. Your local guide will describe the Tonle Sap lake in more detail and tell you about the phenomenon that creates a depth variance of up to eight meters and why this lake is vital to Cambodia’s survival. You’ll appreciate this new perspective on Cambodia as you cruise along the river.
To complete the evening, we take a boat ride on the waterway with local delicacies, including soft drinks and other cold beverages, while enjoying a spectacular view of Tonle Sap at twilight. We can expect to arrive back in town around 7:00 pm, depending on the seasons and the time of the sunset.
