French architect Gustave Eiffel, widely known for creating the Eiffel Tower in Paris, was responsible for its design. In 1891, the construction was finished. The Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon, The Notre Dame Cathedral was built starting in 1863 and finished in 1880. The twin bell towers, stained glass windows, and red brick façade of the cathedral define its architectural style.
