About this experience

This private day trip is a perfect fit for those who want to learn about the history of Saigon but in a short of time as it's an interesting combination tour between Saigon and the Cu Chi tunnels. Much of the daily life takes place on the streets, which are lined with shops, stalls and vendors with their wares spread out on the footpath. Much of see the tunnel system stretched from Saigon all the way to the Cambodian border.

Stop 2

The War Remnants Museum has great historical significance as a testament to the cruel reality of the Second Indochina War and its profound effects on the Vietnamese people. The exhibition here, which includes disturbing photographs of the atrocities of war, vividly depicts the suffering endured by the Vietnamese people, with many images coming from US sources. The collection of posters and images on the ground floor demonstrating international anti-war support provides a counterpoint to the horrors depicted on the upper floors. With exhibits on the widespread destruction caused by napalm and the devastating effects of Agent Orange, the museum helps visitors confront the harsh realities of war. The inclusion of experimental weapons and the Requiem Exhibition, commemorating the photographers who died in the conflict, further enhance the museum's historical significance.

Stop 3

The Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, is a significant historical landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. Built in the 1960s, it served as the residence and workplace of the Presidents of the Republic of Vietnam. The palace is notably marked by the historical event on April 30, 1975, when Liberation Army tanks entered its gates, signifying the end of the Vietnam War and the reunification of the country.
