Drive along while we discover the history of this beautiful seaside Town

Stop and view on of New Zealand's best beaches talk about the history and how James cook called this area the Bay of Plenty

If time allows, we deviate to the Minden Rd. elevated lookout providing spectacular views and photo opportunities of the Bay of Plenty coastline including your own ship far in the distance- stunning

We travel up to the top of Minden Road, which is at an elevation of 300 m, where we capture a fantastic 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, Western Bay of Plenty coastline, Mt Maunganui, and of course your ship in the distance (afternoons are best for photos)

We pass by this popular swimming spot for youngsters during the summer, but do not stop. A few kms before this, we drive down Crawford and PoriPori Rd, traversing some picturesque and typical NZ farmland, many of which are in sheep farms and a few that grow the iconic and quite economically important fruit of this region, the Kiwifruit. We stop at one Orchard. You’ll be amazed at how they grow!!

On the route to Hobbiton we stop just past the highest point (1700 feet) of the drive at a fresh natural springs where you may quench your thirst from cool water gushing up from inside the mountain range. We also stop at a lookout of the vast Waikato region where many of the farms that make up the mainstay of New Zealand's economy-dairy farming, are located.

Discover The famous Lord of the Rings movie Set. The most popular singular attraction in the North Island of New Zealand. We transport you to this venue via a pretty customised scenic tour from the Port of Tauranga. Once we are at Hobbiton, we hand you over the trustworthy hands of their onsite guides who will escort you through this iconic destination set on a piece of gorgeous New Zealand farmland. I have never met anyone who hasn’t come away from Hobbiton suitably impressed in, of course, a positive way.

Drive through this beautiful natural park , see the large cascade. Then we will take a short and 20 minute easy walk through New Zealand native forest to another smaller but very photogenic waterfall - serene, gorgeous, mesmerising, you won’t regret.
