This tour offers more than just escape onto a wild trail in the intoxicating beauty of Autumn in the East – traverse the summit to descend into a cascading mountainside of rice paddy terraces.

MEET UP. DEPART FOR TIANTAI.
Meet up with your guide in your arranged city & location, get acquainted, then depart.
Approximately three hours later, arrive in Tiantai – a little Chinese village of cobbled stone streets, rustic simple houses and ancient trees. Our trail begins here.
MT. HUANGNAN OLD ROAD TRAIL. SUMMIT BREAK. OLD ROAD BACK TRAIL.
From the village, every step moves us toward the summit. Halfway up is a pavilion and an old bridge. Take a moment to rest.
The summit of the trail mountain is flat. A temple and secluded old village rest here, cut off from the rest of the world. Eat snacks you have brought here before we start over the hill on the downward trail.
On the backside trail an amazing landscape of terraced hillside rice fields unfolds below you. Full of old trees, this trail makes for spectacular Autumn hiking.

The entire trail takes roughly 5 hours to complete.
