About this experience

Meet David, a professional Colombian Chef, at his home and then drive to a local market. This is a perfect way to learn more about locally grown ingredients and how they are used in cooking traditional Colombian dishes. After you buy fresh ingredients, drive to David's house where you will be welcomed by his mom, Gloria, and escorted straight to the kitchen bar for a juice tasting. He will freshly squeeze 2-3 fruit juice shots for you to try; these might include lulo, tree tomato, blackberry or aguapanela. In your hands-on cooking experience, learn to make two dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients and herbs from David's backyard garden. After cooking, join David and his family for a meal which you helped prepare!
