We depart from the Statue of Sihanouk Norodom which is the ”father king” of Cambodia where our guide will introduce more about the Khmer King, Independence Monument and our tour itinerary for this evening. Your evening adventure begins with a tuk-tuk ride through the heart of Phnom Penh and heading to see the fishing community and learn more about their life living on the river with a main occupation for their family is fishing.
We crossing the Chroy Changvar bridge which known as the Japanese Friendship Bridge to explore these developing area include a modern skyscrapers, street food stores, sunset bars and interestingly visit the fishing community where they lives on the rivers with learning about their lifestyle.
We will have a quick to explore slum area and seeing their village that hidden through the backyard with a small small house. We are sure, after we explored both of these communities we’ll feel unbelievable of this life in the capital city. then we continue to visit the garment factory worker’s residence because there are too many rooms where they rent to stay for working in the garment factory. Most of them came from the rural areas of Cambodia. Along that attraction, we also have chance to try some of local street foods and have an experience eating like a local such as BBQ frog, grilled snakes, steam duck egg, crispy pork, beef rib BBQ, grilled beef, and a numerous of Khmer cake and dessert.
Later on, we take our tuk tuk ride through Phnom Penh at night and head to see a largest fruit & vegetable market in Phnom Penh and then we taste some of special foods like meat bread, crispy pork, and hidden sour duck soup with a cool beer, before we heading to explore the Bassac street which is an expats area to sign off our unforgettable foodies adventure in Phnom Penh.
