What you'll see

Day 1: Munnar - Thekkady:

Pick up from your hotel in Munnar and a 3-hour transfer to Thekkady. If interested, you may go for a spice plantation visit, enjoy a martial arts show, go boating on the lake, or get an Ayurevedic massage (at own expense). Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 2: Thekkady:

A complete day to take part in activities (subject to availability) in Thekkady, such as a nature walk, bamboo rafting (at own expense), etc. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 3: Thekkady - Aleppey:

After breakfast, take a 4-hour transfer to Aleppey. On arrival, check-in and get a later motorboat transfer to your houseboat which will cruise through the backwaters and village areas of Aleppey. All meals served onboard. Overnight stay onboard.

Day 7: Aleppey - Cochin:

After Breakfast, check-out from the boat by 9am and be transferred approximately 2.5-hours back to your Cochin accommodations, the airport, or railway station.

Important notes

Houseboat Notes:
• Standard cruise of 04 – 05 hours for overnight tour.
• AC switched on in deluxe boat bedrooms only between 10:00pm and 6:00am
• All houseboats are stand-still from 5:30pm thru 8:00am due to government restrictions
• All meals are served onboard
• Soft drinks and beverages need to be purchased before boarding the boat
• Even though the houseboats are private to the guests, there will be 3 staff onboard.
• Houseboats are charged on room basis. If you book a 1 bedroom boat, sometimes we may allocate 3 – 4 bedroom boat, only 1 room will be allowed to use, and other rooms will be closed
• Houseboat check-in is 12pm (From Aleppey Boarding), and check-out is 9am

Visit to Thekkady/Kumily (Periyar):
• Guest who are visiting Thekkady /Kumily (Periyar) as part of the tour, activities inside the park can be pre-booked online directly @ http://www.periyarfoundation.online/
• On arrival at Thekkady also you can book the same, but it will be subject to availability
• No pre-booking required for plantation visit, martial art show, or Ayurveda massage
