We will begin at San Juan de Oriente, is a town of indigenous descent that bases its economy on the elaboration of handicrafts. We will visit the house of a local artisan where we can observe the elaborate pieces, and learn the whole process of this ancestral practice.
Our excursion continues to the Mirador de Catarina, where we will enjoy the impressive view of Laguna de Apoyo, impressive Lake Cocibolca, the city of Granada and the Mombacho Volcano.
Continuing our experience, we will head to the Masaya Handicraft Market famous for the wide variety of hand-crafted products that they offer.
Then, we will visit the Masaya Volcano National Park and its museum where we can learn about the history, eruptions, and formation of the volcano, after enjoying the museum, we will walk to the crater, where you will want your cameras to treasure this unparalleled experience over and over.
