Take a break from the bustle of Toronto and head into nature for a day. Visit Canada's oldest provincial park on a guided excursion. Get picked up from the meeting point and drive to Algonquin. Spend an enriching 6 hours at the park snowshoeing, hiking, spotting wildlife, canoeing, and swimming (depending on the time of the year, joining the tour).
Spring - Moose watching and wildlife spotting time. We will hike Mizzy Lake Trail or similar trail (10 km, good for beginners and intermediate hikers).
Summer/Fall - You can choose between hiking tour only or hiking and canoeing. On our hiking tour only, we will hike around 10 km/day and on our hiking and canoeing tour, we will hike 3 km, canoe for 1,5 hours, swim and relax on the beach.
Winter - Strap on a pair of snowshoes and venture into the wilderness, leaving footprints in the untouched snow. Snowshoes are included.
While there are many trails to choose from, we will pick one that offers the best lookout points.
Summer, Spring and Fall: Hiking tour only. We will hike around 10 km/day. This tour is available in spring, summer and fall only.
Winter: Snowshoeing Tour in winter only from December to March. Snowshoe rental is included.
Hiking and Canoeing: Hiking for 1,5 hour and canoeing for 2,5 hours.
The Ragged Falls Oxtongue River trail is only 1 km long but it offers a great view of the Ragged Falls. Optional trail on spring, summer or fall adventure.
