Dwejra, with its dramatic coastal formations and sea spilling over the rocks, is a magical attraction. Here you can swim in the spectacular deep sea of the bay, in the calm shallows of the inland sea or in the foamy waters around the Blue Hole – one of Gozo’s top dive-sites. For many years, Dwejra was home to the beautiful natural arch known as the Azure Window, which has now become a dive site after its collapse in 2017.

Situated just outside Xwejni Bay (limits of Żebbuġ, Gozo), Xwejni Salt Pans are one of the Island’s highlights and give visitors an insight into the traditional world of naturally collected salt.
Consisting of groups of shallow, square pails, the seawater is exposed to the elements and a combination of the water and wind evaporates the seawater, leaving only salt.
The salt is then collected and packed manually, using traditional methods.
Ix-Xwejni (Xwejni Bay) and il-Qbajjar (Qbajjar Bay), both easily reached through Marsalforn or iż-Żebbuġ, are two shallow bays right next to each other, with small pebbly beaches and rocky stretches leading into clear blue water. There is excellent swimming here enjoyed by locals and visitors alike and this is also a popular place for diving, especially for beginners.
Welcome to Marsalforn Gozo, one of the most popular beaches in Malta and Gozo Island. This popular beach captivates the hearts of all who visit. As the summer sun graces the horizon, this seaside gem pulses irresistibly. Gozitans and Maltese families travel to the coast, eager to create lasting memories in the shimmering waters. Meanwhile, a steady stream of foreign visitors arrive every year, seeking comfort and an enjoyable time with the perfect blend of the sun and the sea.
