Our next stop is Maleny a picture-postcard dairy country town. Located 436 m above sea-level on the southern edge of the Blackall Range Maleny attracts painters, craftspeople and potters. During this time, you will enjoy cheese tasting and explore the town at your leisure.
Enjoy an authentic cheese experience, sampling a selection of the finest Australian and international cheeses crafted by artisan cheesemakers. Your tasting board will feature a variety of cheeses accompanied by condiments like quince jam, baby pickles, figs, muscatels, dried fruit, and crusty sourdough. Friday & Sunday: Enjoy a delightful stop at Fernhill Winery, where you’ll indulge in a guided wine tasting experience, sampling a selection of locally crafted wines.
Tuesday: While winery visits aren’t available, you’ll still savor the region’s flavors with two glasses of wine included with your lunch, ensuring a complete culinary experience.
When we arrive at the Hinterland Village of Montville and following wine tasting, you can spend free time checking out the delightful shops and boutiques, enjoying this picture-postcard village and its fresh mountain air.
Your last stop is the stunning Mapleton Falls Lookout which in on the Blackall Range looking across the Obi Obi Valley.
