Detailed itinerary

Start the day with a brief cider talk and demonstration of the champagne-making process. Sunshine Coast Cider is one of the only wineries in QLD who do the full Methode Traditionelle all in-house.

Our next stop is Clouds Vineyard cellar door offering wine tasting of local award-winning wines. Here you’ll smell and taste local wines, identifying the different aromas while learning about the different grapes grown in our region.

Next is a brief stop for a panoramic view at Gerrard’s Lookout, high on the hill, this lookout offers coastline views to Coolum, Maroochydore, Caloundra and Bribie Island

Depending on availability, your gourmet lunch will be at either “Secrets on the Lake” which is set in the rainforest on the side of Lake Baroon. a popular foodie destination near Montville enjoying panoramic views of Lake Baroon, or “The Edge Café Bar and Restaurant” in Montville which is perched on the edge of the escarpment and offers panoramic views of the Sunshine coastline. Regardless of the lunch venue, you’ll enjoy a delicious two-course meal included in the tour.

Montville is often referred to as the creative heart of the region, so you’ll find plenty to do during your free time. There are art galleries, studios, cafes, restaurants, and even a romantic chapel. Whether you’re interested in paintings or glass sculptures, you’ll find something for you. You’ll have time to wander through some galleries or even do a little shopping for a new piece that will look stunning in your home when you return.

Mid-afternoon following lunch we move onto Flame Hill Winery for a wine tasting of local award-winning wines. Here, you’ll be enjoying the stunning rural hinterland setting while tasting 6 award-winning wines.

It’s now mid-afternoon and you’ve bought yourself a couple of bottles of sustainable wine to take home and now it’s time to head to Montville.
