Guoliang Village was a tiny Chinese village high in the Taihang Mountains in Henan Province. It was built on cliffy and abrupt mountains with an elevation of 1000 meters, and has a specialty in stone. The road was built in 1972. With hand tools, 13 strong villagers started carving a road down the side of the canyon road. It was finished in 5 years, and the result is that the village is famed as a tourist attraction.The road is amazing considering that it is tunnels and leveled cliff face, stretches about a mile.
Upon arrival, your driver will assist with buying the tickets for you. Then you can explore the unique village on your own and enjoy your lunch there if you like. Afterwards, meet your driver at the same point where he drops you off and transfer back to your Zhengzhou hotel.
