About this experience

This Belize City tour offers an amazing look at the history and culture of the old Capital of this former British colony in Central America. Besides being in the largest City in the country you also get to see residences comprising of a wide variety of ethnicities. You will get to view the oldest Anglican Cathedral in the region as well as the Governor's house. You are slowly driven on the north and south sides of the city to view the important landmarks and historical buildings. Your experienced driver/guide will be providing detailed and factual information about the different attractions as you drive by. Stops will be made at your request at the Rum Factory and the Museum. For picture taking we will also stop at the Belize sign and the different landmarks if you desire. This is a short but very educational tour that offers an insight into the only English-speaking country in Central America. Shopping will be available after the tour for your souvenirs at the Local Artisan Alley.

The Belize City tour offers a comprehensive insight into the history and culture of the Old capital of the country of Belize. After you have been picked up this tour get started on the north side of the city. Accompanied by a driver/guide you get to view landmarks such as the lighthouse and the tomb of the country's greatest benefactor Baron Bliss, the memorial park, and a replica of the first plane that landed in Belize by Charles Lindbergh. The tour continues into the upscale communities and then moves its way into the south side of Belize City. Here you will get to see historical buildings such as the oldest Anglican Cathedral in Central America, the Governor's house, and the court buildings . You also get to pass over the oldest hand crank bridge that connects both sides of the City the Belize City swing bridge. This is a guided tour as your driver/ guide will be presenting all the intriguing and historical information about these landmarks.
