About this experience

Day 1: See the city of Oxford's most well known & less known best sights as locals do on 2 wheels. Includes visit inside colleges.

Day 2: Make use of an electric bike to enjoy an adventurous ride of approx 40km, taking in scenic views & picturesque villages in the Cotswolds

In two days, we will pack in the best sights to see on 2 wheels in both Oxford & the Cotswolds. Electric bikes used on day 2 in the Cotswolds to take hard work out of enjoying the Cotswolds scenery.

What's included

In Cotswolds, we provide either standard or electric bikes. In Oxford, we use standard bikes only
On cycle tours- we provide high visibility vests & helmets. Please bring shades for safety cycling!

Detailed itinerary

Which route and which villages we will visit on the Cotswolds cycle tours varies by day of the week but whichever route is lovely and paced for a cycle tour lasting average up to 40 miles

Your Oxford cycle tour and walking tour will last approx 5 hours and will cover Oxford city & university heritage. The tour is also split into two parts of approximately 3 hours cycle and 2 hours walk with lunch stop in middle of the day.

The Cotswolds cycle tour usually starts and ends here but whatever is the given start point will be made known to you when you book and we only start Cotswolds tours at a train station where we can transport the bikes to start from and finish at

Children must be at least 16 years old due to licensing rules. Bikes will fit anyone over 1.4m high
Cycle tours, you'll need to use public transport cost of c £5 to get to our meet point in Cotswolds

The tour does not include any meals or drinks. Due to licensing laws about the use of electric bicycles, participants must be aged 14+ and at least 5 fee (1.52m) high. We do however have one tandem bike to seat one child only aged under 14. The tandem bike is however subject to availability and this child must be approximately at least 4 feet (1.2metres) high
Day 1 meets in Oxford city. Meeting OUTSIDE Oxford visitor info centre, 15 Broad street, Oxford, OX1 3AS.
Day 2 Cotswolds ebike tour starts & ends at Kingham train station, which can easily be reached by train.
POLICY FOR BAD WEATHER:
Unfortunately, we can never predict the weather in the UK, even from hour to hour. However, if the weather forecast does look awful, you have the option to request us to give us advance notice of more than 24 hours to either reschedule the date for cycle tour or alternatively we can replace the cycle tour with walking tour and a visit in Oxford to Christchurch college Harry Potter film site (presuming Christchurch is not closed) and option to replace Cotswolds cycle tour with a visit to Blenheim palace or to request a refund

Please note that for licensing reasons with the use of electric bicycles, we cannot offer this tour to any children aged under 16 due to licensing rules to use e-bikes.

Day 2 Cotswolds ebike tour starts & ends at variable designated meeting points in the Cotswolds such as train stations or bus stops which can easily be reached from Oxford city by bus or train. The exact meeting point will depend on which day of the week you book the tour for & such details & timetable & directions how to get there will be given after you book.
