On this one-day tour, you'll get out of the minibus and into the glorious countryside! Experience the Cotswolds' celebrated walking trails with a fun, friendly local guide.

You'll enjoy up to three glorious walks on this tour. Walks may vary according to the group, weather and trail conditions, but we can promise you peaceful Cotswold villages, gloriously scenic views and quiet footpaths away from the crowds of the ‘touristy’ parts of the Cotswolds - heaven! The day will round off with a visit to the gorgeous village of Broadway (with the option to see Broadway Tower), where you can explore, shop, or grab some refreshment after your day of walking the Cotswolds!

Tours depart from Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, or from Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds.

Stop 1

We have two pick up points for this tour: we collect our first passengers in Stratford-upon-Avon at 08.45 for departure by 08.50, then travel to Moreton-in-Marsh rail station to collect our final guests at 09.30.

From Moreton-in-Marsh station, we'll drive you through the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside in our comfy, air-conditioned 16-seater Mercedes minibus. Then, we'll park and start exploring! This tour will include 2-3 easy, gently paced countryside walks, led by an experienced Go Cotswolds guide.

We'll round off the day in the gorgeous village of Broadway, often referred to as "the jewel of the Cotswolds' crown". You'll have free time here to explore, shop, or grab some refreshment at the end of your day of walking! We provide our unique maps to help you navigate and to point out our favourite cafés, pubs and sights!

For passengers who joined us at Moreton-in-Marsh, we return here to drop you off at approximately 17.00. If you prefer, we can also drop you off in Stratford-upon-Avon, just let us know when you request to book. We hope you had a wonderful day!

You'll get the most out of this tour if you're comfortable walking up to 3 miles (5km) on varied terrain. We do offer easier or alternative options for less able walkers, but you should be able to walk at least 1 mile (1.6km).

If you are arriving in Moreton-in-Marsh by train, the train arriving at approximately 09:17–09:20 is ideal. It’s a small station, and it’s just a 1–2 minute walk to the car park where your guide will meet you.
The total tour duration of 8 hours includes travel time, which may vary depending on the locations and walks chosen on the day. The drive from Stratford-upon-Avon to Moreton-in-Marsh (for those who select pick up in Stratford-upon-Avon) takes approximately 30 minutes.
If you are arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon by train, note that our pick-up point is a 5–10 minute walk from the station. Please note that on Sundays, there are no trains arriving before the tour departs.
Uber and similar services are not widely available in the Cotswolds, and local taxis can be difficult to book last minute. We strongly recommend booking taxis in advance or using public transport where possible.
If you're not at your pick-up point on time (08:50 in Stratford-upon-Avon, 09:30 in Moreton-in-Marsh) and we can't contact you, the tour will depart without you. Make sure we have your correct mobile number with international dial code before your tour.

Please wait in the car park front of the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh train station. Arrive at 09.25 and be ready to depart at 09.30. Look out for a big white, green and purple Mercedes minibus, driven by one of our friendly guides in Go Cotswolds uniform. You shouldn't be able to miss us!
