About this experience

On this day, our guests will have the opportunity to discover and explore the Western Algarve.

We will visit the Olhão market, where we will be amazed by local products, directly from the producers.

Continuing to the city of Tavira, we will be dazzled by the Roman bridges over the river. We will also stop at the castle at the top of the city, which offers a spectacular panoramic view of Tavira. We can also visit the Islamic Museum.

Finally, our stop is in the city of Ayamonte in neighboring Spain, where we will stroll through the city center, full of local and traditional shops, ideal for taking home some souvenirs.

Two buildings topped with turrets and the freshness of the produce sold there,

The fish market, located on the west side of the building, is one of the best-known and most visited in the Algarve, where quality and variety of fish, seafood, and shellfish abound.

In the east, you can visit the fruit and vegetable market, where the produce is always fresh, and on Saturday mornings, there's an additional attraction: the open-air market, where small producers sell the surplus produce from their gardens.

Located between the historic center and the Ria Formosa, the Olhão Markets are a must-see for a visit.
