About this experience

After pickup from your accommodation in Albufeira, start a day enjoying the medieval castle of Silves. In addition to the castle itself, appreciate the statue of King Sancho I at the castle's entrance. This statue dates back to the time of the Christian Reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula, by the Portuguese monarch D. Sancho.

Continuing through the castle, visit the Sé de Silves before taking the opportunity to explore the old town, making your way down through the old and cramped streets. Admire the many local shops, small shops and cafes, which have decades of history behind them.

Our customers can choose to have lunch, in silves or in Monchique Moutain

We will also visit the Termas de Monchique, we will go to the top of the mountain, the highest place in the Algarve. With a simply stunning view.

Upon returning, our customers will have the opportunity to make a small stop at the chapel of bones in Alcantarilha
